First Drawing with Old Wacom Pen Tablet in Adobe Illustrator

Bought my Wacom Saphine CTE (oldest series) about 8 years ago.
Just get a new driver and test out in my notebook.

Custom brush enable me to draw smoothly.
TIP:  you really need to install Wacom driver ( I just updated driver for Vista/Win7 ).
After installed driver, you have more options to control your pen.

After illustrate in Illustrator, fill color in export to psd format.
Fill color with Photoshop ( better tool to fill color)

My first try, just to recall back my primary school art teacher about art concepts.
Will try more when I have time and hopefully able to create a better one =D

Intresting Bill Related's Quote and Rules :D

Interviewer: "Is studying computer science the best way to prepare to be a programmer?"

Gates: "No, the best way to prepare is to write programs, and to study
great programs that other people have written. In my case, I went to the garbage cans at the Computer Science Center and I fished out listings of their operating system."

- Interview with Bill Gates, Discarted from "Programmers at Work" (Found on comp.os.os2.advocacy)

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"SEATTLE -- Back in 1975, when Paul Allen and I were college kids, the two of us in my dorm room cooked up the first software program for a microcomputer..."
- Bill Gates, "You, Too, Can Start a Software Firm"

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"A few weeks ago, a member of the audience at a [Bill] Gates speech in San Francisco asked simply this of the world's richest businessman:Can you make a list of things you won't be doing? ... I just want a little piece of something to pass on to my kids 20 years from now."
-- San Jose Mercury News, 26 Oct 97

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Every time you turn on your new car, you're turning on 20 microprocessors. Every time you use an ATM, you're using a computer. Every time I use a settop box or game machine, I'm using a computer. The only computer you don't know how to work is your Microsoft computer, right?"
-- Scott McNealy, CEO, Sun Microsystems, Inc.

Bill Gates 11 Rules of Life

The following rules were thought to have been given Bill Gates during a high school speech. This Bill Gates urban legend was later debunked when it came to light that the rules actually came from an excerpt in Charles J. Sykes' book titled "Dumbing Down our Kids".
  • Rule 1: Life is not fair...get used to it.
  • Rule 2: The world won't care about your self-esteem. The world will expect you to accomplish something BEFORE you feel good about yourself.
  • Rule 3: You will NOT make 40 thousand dollars a year right out of high school. You won't be a vice-president with a car phone, until you earn both.
  • Rule 4: If you think your teacher is tough, wait till you get a boss. He doesn't have tenure.
  • Rule 5: Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your grandparents had a different word for burger flipping-they called it opportunity.
  • Rule 6: If you mess up, it's not your parents' fault, so don't whine about your mistakes, learn from them.
  • Rule 7: Before you were born, your parents weren't as boring as they are now. They got that way from paying your bills, cleaning your clothes and listening to you talk about how cool you are. So before you save the rain forest from the parasites of your parents' generation, try delousing the closet in your own room.
  • Rule 8: Your school may have done away with winners and losers but life has not. In some schools they have abolished failing grades and they'll give you as many times as you want to get the right answer. This doesn't bear the slightest resemblance to ANYTHING in real life.
  • Rule 9: Life is not divided into semesters. You don't get summers off and very few employers are interested in helping you find yourself. You have to do that on your own time.
  • Rule 10: Television is NOT real life. In real life people actually have to leave the coffee shop and go to jobs.
  • Rule 11: Be nice to nerds. Chances are you'll end up working for one.
Finally, we thought you might enjoy reading GNU's views on Microsoft.

After read, I am very interested with Bill's 11 rules which is very true! :D
